The GOP is a bad brand
Posted June 1st, 2008 by goofticketMost of the right wing pundits, and columnists are all talking about re-branding the GOP.
They distance themselves from Bush 43, like they did from Hoover, and Nixon and Bush 41.
They have a brand that just isn't good.
The GOP says many things, but talk is cheap...as cheap as talk radio and cable news.
GB GOP office closed- Decertified by state party
Posted November 29th, 2007 by goofticketReince Priebus, state chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, said the Brown County group has been decertified by the state, but not because of the recent legal troubles of its former chairman, Donald Fleischman of Allouez.
Fleischman resigned in September after charges of child enticement were brought against him in Brown County Circuit Court; they have since been dropped.
Priebus called the reorganization “tangential” to Fleischman’s predicament.
Fleischman’s resignation created two vacancies in the party’s officer corps. Holly Arnold, the first vice-chair, did not want the top spot, and the second vice-chair position already was vacant, Priebus said.
That meant the party didn’t have enough officers to call a caucus to elect new officers, Priebus said. At Arnold’s request, the state GOP decertified the county party on Nov. 13.

Answer questions about that, and why they did nothing about it?
...and then ask for money?
Another Evagelical Mouth silenced

The most influential Evangelical neocon, 'you've never heard of' is dead.
D. James Kennedy, the founder and leader of the Coral Ridge Ministry, whose biblical TV sermons often took a second seat to his political agenda, was a close ally to the neocons of Washington DC. Born of an alcoholic, and a teenaged indulger of 'every sin imaginable ( his own quote), he was a teacher at an Arthur Murray Dance Studio when God' indoctrinated him via a radio preacher.

Posted September 5th, 2007 by goofticketIn 1939, the US Supreme Court heard the last case for individual gun ownership rights. Today, the District of Columbia is fighting another claim. Initially the case was from 6 people who wanted to take guns outside. DC bans all guns outside the home, and required permits for any gun.
The case went through the lower DC courts and the city ban was overturned. The city is asking SCOTUS to hear that case.
Things have changed, since the original case was filed. Both the federal and city lawyers, have dropped 5 of the 6 people from the case...leaving one lone security guard as the sole plaintiff. He is not asking for a gun related to his work, as a security guard.
Here's the Catch 22 in this case. It all falls back on the 1939 case.
SCOTUS was brilliant in it's last ruling.
