Well, let's take a little break from the convention. I was just reminded of something I've been meaning to put up for quite a while. If you're interested in going to Bobfest this year, and live up in my neck of the woods, there'll be a Bobfest bus from Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls.
Please hurry to sign up for the Bobfest Bus on Saturday, September 6th. This will save gas! Only (44) seats will be available and they could go fast. See details below.

Bobfest Bus Plans (Chippewa Yellow Bus Co. is a school bus and no bathroom)

Cost: $20 per person and is payable on the bus. Myron Bucholz has been kind enough to handle this.

If you have to cancel please pay the $20 or find someone to take your place and pay the $20. The bill for the school bus is $452. Checks endorsed to Fighting Bob, Inc.

Chippewa Falls - At the K-Mart in Chippewa Falls parking lot across from the Chippewa Yellow Bus Company at 5:30 a.m.
Eau Claire - Water St. Across from the Fine Arts Building at 6:00 a.m.

Return:
We will meet at the parking lot where the bus drops us off. As in the past I believe we should be back in our area by 7:00.

How do I reserve a spot on the bus?
1. ) email the Eau Claire Democratic Party office at ecdems [at] charterinternet [dot] com

2.) Be sure to include your name, phone number, and the number of reservations. I realize your name may be on the email address but not everyone uses it. I will try to keep a list of everyone and may call before the trip to verify or mail a list of those attending. I'm not sure of this yet.

3.) In your email write at the subject for Carolyn Dunning the EC Democratic Party Office coordinator, "BUS." She gets a lot of mail and this
will make it easier.

4.) Be sure to register for FightingBobFest at www.fightingbobfest.org. You will see the program plans there.

Note: This will be a fun event. If you want to bring a snack, beverage, or book, etc. please feel free to do that. So far when I've been to Fighting Bob, it's been too hot and then too cold. This year I predict it will be "just right." If you have any questions you may contact the Eau Claire Democratic Party office and we will respond to your question. See you on September 6th.
