The Chippewa Valley Draft & Military Counseling Network will be meeting this coming Saturday, November 4, 2006, 10am-noon, in the back of the First Baptist Church, 416 Niagara Street, in the room rented by Eau Claire Friends/Quakers.

We invite all interested parties to attend the meeting.

IN PARTICULAR, we invite young people who may be facing the draft, if it is activated, to come to gather information to prepare themselves for the possibility. The draft law is dramatically different from that of previous generations, and has provisions to draft conscripts in as little as TEN DAYS. Advance preparation is CRUCIAL for those looking for alternatives.
