I've made a small change to the system tonight.  Now those of you who are in the contributors and editors roles (and if you can see this message, that means you) can now delete comments on blog entries that you have created.  This might be handy if someone posts a comment on one of your articles that is particularly inflammatory.  Don't go nuts, though.
