I think you are right--Kind seems sort of hopeless, and his appeal is strange in this area of the state that has some interesting divisions at the moment.

I'll start with a post to KickTime about your posts and get it around. There are people who can do things here to bring him better focus on the issue. We did do the Mark Twain write-in a few elections back, which drew many protest votes. Many didn't get counted because those counting didn't know it was a protest. The old Clerk in Viroqua told me she didn't count votes for Mickey Mouse, etc. So we try out here, but it isn't always very easy.

In his favor he did work against the Farm Bill and came to the area to talk about it.
