I understand where you are coming from. Under certain circumstances I agree that a gun may be necessary. But the need for more guns, bigger guns, and the ability to carry guns whenever, and where ever scares me. It is a slippery slope of tolerance to violence which leads to gun accidents, children taking guns to school, and more needless homicides which could have been prevented if the individual did not have a readily accessible gun. Maybe 3 safes would appease me :)
