Lighten up!!!! As warmmidwest pointed out, there is an actual definition to the word. Maybe you should have thought of that before you spouted off with your fake outrage.
Some years ago an African American student at UW Madison left a class in tears because the professor repeatedly used the word "niggardly" in the class. The student felt offended. However, the word is an adjective used to describe a meager, petty manner. So, before you get overly sensitive maybe you should take the time to understand the words that are being used.
