First Willie Horton, now the revolving door spot

Michael Gableman continues to use the racial playbook from 1988's presidential race in his campaign for Supreme Court justice.

First it was a race-baiting commercial, reminiscent of the Willie Horton spot,  which is being roundly condemned in editorials:

Now Gableman has unveiled a new commercial which recalls the 1988 George Bush "revolving door" commercial, done by Roger Ailes. Gableman's video highlights an Asian prisoner going from prison garb to civilian clothes.Gableman's latest commercial:

Gableman TV ad: "Law Enforcement's Choice"

Bush revolving door ad.

Can anyone still argue this is not deliberate?

Well, yes, Charlie Sykes can, claiming, apparently, that all criminals are black.

dodge county da

i hope you see the dodge county da info that IT and Plaisted have. The wheels are coming off the bus for Gableman.

I find it very odd that

I find it very odd that Michael Gableman has no wife, ex-wife or girlfriend...no children either! That is VERY UNUSUAL for one his age...at least for someone STRAIGHT his age! Justice Butler is black, but I know of no one who ever had a choice of race, it is simply who your parents are. Give me a honest black man, with a wife, children and even grandchildren like Justice Butler any day! He seems normal, fair and a really good candidate to KEEP his seat on our most important court. Gableman on the other hand is very impatient, dis-honest, and treats regular people like they are beneath him somehow! He also favors homo-sexuals, rich people and those who have funded his cause (like any "real politician") he claims not to be political maybe because of the strange fact he presents himself a conservative, tough etc. but seems to live a life very differant from them! Show me one of his "conservfative, republican friends", any where near his age, who does not have a wife, ex-wife or children! Seems more than a little QUEER to me! What do you think?

Well, since you asked

What I think is that there's plenty to find wrong with Gableman's performance and campaign without having to stoop to raising totally bizarre questions about his sexual orientation.

The last thing that I care about re: Gableman is his sex life. Last I knew, none of the gay or straight people I know had any more choice about their sexual orientation than their skin color. Please let's stick to issues that people really care about.
