People vs. Money on health care

A perfect example of the forces at work when it comes to health care:

Two-thirds of Wisconsin residents surveyed in a statewide poll favored the universal health care proposed by State Senate Democrats -- even after hearing the litany of negatives that opponents of the plan use to trash it. The Capital Times reports on the survey.

Meanwhile, special interests opposed to the plan have showered millions of dollars on Assembly Republicans, who oppose the plan, and have also given heavily to Gov. Jim Doyle, who's not on board with it, either. The AP has that story.

So, who's your money on in the budget negotiations? Or is that a bad way to put it?

Well

We sure as heck know who the health-care industry's bet is on. And it's not us.

I think this is the main

I think this is the main problem in health care system: decentralization. It's hard to bring a change and make things better if all the forces required are not as united as they should. Health care system needs more than that.
