He was convicted of lying to investigators about conversations with reporters he said he couldn't remember well over something that wasn't a crime and that he didn't leak first after an investigation that started out as a partisan and media witchhunt after the administration tried to defend itself against the smears of an ideologically motivated critic.

Kevin Barrett, the fruitcake Jessica McBride helped make famous (or infamous) by hosting him and airing his Sept. 11 conspiracy theories on her radio show, wants to reciprocate.

Says Barrett, whom McBride tried to get fired from his one-semester University of Wisconsin lecturer job:

Irony upon irony: I am now over-employed as--of all things--a conservative talk show host... I have three different shows on three national networks: Genesis Communications, Republic Broadcasting, and We the People Radio Network.

Hey Jessica--want to be a guest on one of my shows? We can argue about who are the real conservatives--limited-government advocates like Ron Paul, or the neo-nazis who seized power in the 9/11 coup d'etat and proceeded to spend this nation into moral as well as financial bankruptcy.

This is your one chance to be on the radio, Jessica. Better take advantage of it. Take it from me: You never know how your life might suddenly change for the better, just for accepting an invitation from a conservative talk show host.

Seems like everyone in the Cheddarsphere is talking about Jessica McBride's pathetic attempt at humor, in which she juxtaposed a question about a 4-year-old girl's murder with sounds of a clucking chicken duirng her talk radio show this week.

 Everybody, that is, except the right side of the Cheddarsphere, which so far is silent with the exception of one libertarian blogger.

Jessica McBride, or the management of WTMJ radio, has purged her blog of an offensive item, including audio, in which she mixed questions about the tragic drive-by shooting of a 4-year-old with squawks from a chicken.

But, as the Whallah! blog points out, this wasn't just a blog item. It was carried on the air on the most powerful station in Wisconsin. At a bare minimum, an apology is in order.
