Posted July 25th, 2007 by xoffTwo Wisconsin professors, one Democrat and one Republican, say they will run a joint campaign against Rep. F. Jim Sensenbrenner, the controversial conservative from Milwaukee's suburbs.
At first blush it may sound intriguing. But upon closer inspection, it's a gimmick cooked up by two academics that flies in the face of what campaigns and elections are all about -- making choices.
Voters in the district, even though it is overwhelmingly Republican and probably non-competitive, deserve better.
