We've just had a very moving video tribute to the troops. Tammy Duckworth has taken the stage and is ripping McCain for his background of non-support for the troops, and a foreign policy that puts troops in harm's way for no reason. I think she's great - she's obviously speaking from her heart as a soldier and from her frustration with how the average soldier and veteran is being treated. 

It's very hard to know where to start with criticizing the current administration,but the continual ability to cut VA benefits, not worrying about the troops coming home with massive trauma, and veterans sleeping in the streets, and then to say that those who want to end the war in Iraq "don't support the troops" is one of the most two-faced stances imaginable.  It's good to hear someone say it so eloquently, and from her own experience.
