Iran is more dangerous
While I agree with the premise that America and Iran may one day be friends, I think that the problems with our relations tend to have more to do with the violent taking of our embassy and the prolonged illegal hostage situation. We always hear demands from the left that we must respond to every action with diplomacy--well, where were the Iranian diplomats when the radicals were storming the walls? Where is the Iranina peace initiave when it comes to restraining their covert soldiers from entering Iraq? Where are the Iranian diplomats when it comes to Isreal? Where are the Iranian diplomats when it comes to homosexuals and women in that society? Please, only a fool would ask if the US was more dangerous than Iran. Why are you so willing to believe that a radical islamic state in pursuit of nuclear weapons--if you believe the concerns of our european allies--is more evil than we are.
