Why Wisconsin voters should support Hillary staying in the primary race
Over a pitcher of beer after a city-league, softball game at the Harmony Bar in Madison, Wis., I'm sure I heard one of the most open-minded political conversations going on anywhere among a group of people who will definitely not vote for the person they were discussing.
The conversation was about why Hillary should stay in the race.
An outfielder said, "If you were the first woman to have a serious bid for the presidency of the United States, would you drop out before everyone had a chance to vote? Would you want written in the history books that you were a quitter that way?"
Beer glasses were refreshed and the conversation poured.
The mathematics are against Hillary, for sure, but as one softball player put it, "This is history in the making and they want to diminish that fact, not let us celebrate it anymore."
The ballplayers finished up their beer over talk about bucking conventional wisdom, and hoping that despite everything that's gone on so far, Hillary goes out with some grace and dignity through June when the primary is finished.
We don't need YouTube playbacks of her saying un-presidential things about winning the majority of white voters.
There’s still enough time to make up for that crap. Let’s hope it’s used wisely.

I dunno
I understand the point.
I didn't vote for her in the primary, and of course I would if she was the nominee, but I just hope that if she is staying in for for making history's sake that she stops the negative stuff and doesn't put whoever is the nominee at risk (as of course she won't be the nominee, unless the remaining states are filled with dittoheads that is). It would be about the last thing that progressives need at this point in time.
Nice work! I think I'll like reading this. Only thing I don't like is the design of this site. They didn't put much effort in at all to making sure things line up correctly or look decent.. Drupal is cool though..
Later!

On the positive side
I did not vote for Hillary, but I think it was Barack who pointed out these hotly contested races are making the Dem party more networked and active. This will be a plus come November. Both candidates have boots mobilized now that would have been home on the couch without this horse race atmosphere.
It could backfire and split the party, but I can't imagine anyone of the Dem voters (either side/Hillary or Barack) not voting in Nov or not voting for the Dem candidate. So be encouraged I think.
